Carroll Gardens Townhouse

BHA helped restore this charming Carroll Gardens townhouse for a young family of three. The front parlor received subtle updates with fresh paint and refined finishes, while the kitchen at the rear was reconfigured to include a central island and expansive windows overlooking the backyard. The garden level, formerly a separate apartment, was transformed to accommodate a guest room, bathroom, and den. The upper floor was also reimagined as a primary suite, a kid’s bedroom and bath, and a small office. The owners played a large role in selecting many of the finishes and fixtures, resulting in a neutral palette that thoughtfully layers textures and materials throughout the home.
